I think the hardest thing about relationships, both romantic and platonic, is accepting the fact that people change at different speeds.

Sometimes, as humans we have a hard time accepting that what was right for us at one point in our lives can be lethal for us at another point in life. Sometimes it has nothing to do with the individuals and everything to do with the inevitable act of maturing. Life and love are about growth and development. It is up to us to decide who we want to observe, assist, or disband from for our metamorphous into the people we are destined to be.
